My dad went to give me money a few minutes ago, and he handed me a quarter. Then he tried to tell me that that's how much allowance that he got when he was my age. For mowing, keeping his room clean, taking out the trash, and helping his dad at work. A quarter. Obviously I didn't believe him, so I called and asked my papaw and he confirmed it to be true.
Luckily my dad gave me more money...but I thought that he was really just going to give me a quarter because he's freaking crazy sometimes.
